In tech sales, you're only as good as the product you sell

I got a lucky break when I started my tech sales career as an SDR at Dropbox.

It was there I learned a simple truth:

Your #1 job is to set yourself up for success.

How?

By joining the right company, at the right level, with the best possible terms.

I know this because I've lived it.

I wasn't the best salesperson. I wasn't the hardest worker. I wasn't the smartest person in the room.

And yet, in 7 years, I received 6 promotions — progressing from SDR to Sales Leader, increasing my earnings from €45,000 to €200,000+, and buying my dream home. Solo.

As a Sales Leader, my job was to run hundreds of interviews and hire the best talent for our growing teams.

That's when I realised:
